SafetyBriefer™ is a mobile app that helps you run professional, OSHA-informed safety meetings in about 60 seconds. Just enter what work you're doing, and the app generates a complete safety briefing with hazards, precautions, required PPE, and OSHA references. It also includes tools for documenting incidents, recognizing safe behavior, and tracking your safety metrics.

Who is SafetyBriefer™ for?

SafetyBriefer™ is built for owners, foremen, safety managers, shop leads, and anyone who runs a crew. Whether you're managing safety across multiple jobsites or leading a five-person team, SafetyBriefer™ helps you deliver consistent, quality safety briefings.

Is SafetyBriefer™ affiliated with OSHA?

No. SafetyBriefer™ is an independent application. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to OSHA or any government agency. Our content references official OSHA regulations to help you, but we do not speak for them.

Is the content in SafetyBriefer™ legally binding?

No. SafetyBriefer™ provides informational content only—not legal, professional, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for verifying that all content applies to your specific situation and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Getting Started

Do I need to create an account?

No. SafetyBriefer™ works without account creation. Just download the SafetyBriefer™ app, complete the quick onboarding, and start generating safety meetings. Your data is stored locally on your device.

How does onboarding work?

When you first open the app, you'll complete a 6-step setup: your name, your company, your role, your industry (50+ options), your required PPE, and accepting the terms. This takes about a minute and helps personalize your safety meetings.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. New users get a 7-day free trial with full access to all SafetyBriefer™ features—unlimited meetings, AI cartoons, team analytics, everything. No credit card required to start.

What happens after the free trial?

After your trial ends, you can subscribe to SafetyBriefer™ Pro ($14.99/month) for unlimited meetings, AI cartoons, team analytics, and all SafetyBriefer™ features. Or continue with the free tier which has limited meeting generation and document creation.

Safety Meetings

How do I generate a safety meeting?

Open SafetyBriefer™ and tap "Generate Meeting." Enter your work description (like "trenching and excavation") or select a random topic. Tap "Generate" and in about 60 seconds you'll have a complete meeting plan with hazards, precautions, PPE, OSHA references, and discussion questions.

What's included in a generated meeting plan?

Each SafetyBriefer™ meeting includes safety briefing content, hazard identification, safety precautions, required PPE, OSHA regulation references, discussion questions to engage your crew, and an optional AI safety cartoon (Pro feature).

What is the 2X Deep Dive feature?

Tap the "2X" button to double the content of your meeting. This gives you a more detailed briefing with additional information on hazards, procedures, and precautions.

How do I add attendees to a meeting?

After generating your meeting plan, tap "Add Attendees." Enter each crew member's name and role. When everyone is added, the host captures their signature to complete the meeting.

Can I share meetings with my crew?

Yes. Share via QR code so crew members can view the meeting on any device without the app. Export as PDF to email, print, or save. Or use text-to-speech to read the meeting aloud while your crew listens.

What languages are supported?

Meetings can be viewed in 14 languages via QR code sharing: English, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Vietnamese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Haitian Creole, Tagalog, Hindi, Arabic, and French.

What are Discussion Questions?

Every SafetyBriefer™ meeting includes rotating safety discussion questions from 6 categories to get your crew talking. These help turn a safety meeting from a checkbox exercise into real engagement.

What are AI Safety Cartoons?

Pro subscribers get an AI-generated safety cartoon with each meeting. These work-friendly illustrations help reinforce the safety message and keep your crew engaged.

SafetyBriefer™ Documents & Reports

What types of documents can I create?

SafetyBriefer™ includes 5 report types:

• Injury Reports — Body part, injury type, severity, witnesses, first aid status

• Vehicle Incidents — Vehicle type, damage, weather, police report status

• Near Miss Reports — Hazard types, location, severity, prevention actions

• Site Safety Walks — Walk type, findings, acceptability rating

• Safety Shoutouts — Employee recognition awards

What are Safety Shoutouts?

Safety Shoutouts let you recognize crew members for doing something extra safe. Select a category (Hazard Prevention, Helping Others, Above & Beyond, Emergency Response), describe what they did, and create a shareable digital award. Positive recognition builds a stronger safety culture.

Can I add photos to reports?

Yes. Injury reports, vehicle incidents, near miss reports, and site safety walks all support photo attachments for documentation.

Can I export documents as PDFs?

Yes. All document types can be exported as professional PDFs for compliance, insurance, or legal purposes.

How do I view past documents?

Tap the History tab to see all your documents in a combined timeline. You can filter by type (meetings, injuries, vehicles, near misses, safety walks, shoutouts) and swipe to delete if needed.

SafetyBriefer™ Certification Alerts

What are certification alerts?

SafetyBriefer™ automatically detects when your work description involves activities that may require special certifications. The app includes 40+ certification types and alerts you during meeting generation.

What certifications does SafetyBriefer™ detect?

Examples include confined space entry, crane operation, excavation competent person, scaffolding, forklift operation, fall protection, electrical work, and many more.

Are certification alerts comprehensive?

No. Certification alerts are informational reminders, not a complete list of all requirements. You must verify certification requirements with relevant authorities and ensure workers hold valid credentials before performing any work.

SafetyBriefer™ Analytics & Teams

What analytics does SafetyBriefer™ track?

Your personal dashboard shows total meetings generated, documents created by type, monthly trend charts, and days since last incident.

What is Team Analytics?

Team Analytics (Pro feature) lets you create or join a team to see combined safety metrics across your crew or company. You can view aggregate statistics for all team members.

How do I create or join a team?

Go to Analytics, tap "Team Analytics," then create a new team or enter a team code to join an existing one.

How do I subscribe?

Tap the "Upgrade" or "Pro" button in the app. Payment is processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and automatically renews monthly unless cancelled.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: Open Settings → Tap your name → Subscriptions → SafetyBriefer™ → Cancel Subscription

Android: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → SafetyBriefer™ → Cancel Subscription

How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, tap "Restore Purchases" in the settings or paywall screen. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account.

Privacy & Data

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a cloud database of your meetings, reports, or personal information.

What data is sent to third parties?

To generate content, we send meeting topics and work descriptions to our AI service. We do NOT send your name, company name, contact information, attendee details, or photos. AI-generated cartoon images are uploaded to an image hosting service for QR code sharing. No personal information or meeting text is uploaded.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual documents by swiping in the History tab. To delete all data, uninstall the app or clear app data in your device settings.

Troubleshooting

The app is running slowly. What should I do?

Close and reopen the app. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Restart your device. Check for app updates. If problems persist, contact support.

My meeting won't generate. What's wrong?

Meeting generation requires an internet connection. Check that you're connected to WiFi or cellular data, you haven't exceeded the free tier limits, and you've entered a valid work description. If the issue continues, try closing and reopening the app.

My subscription isn't recognized.

Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google account used to purchase. Tap "Restore Purchases" in settings. Check that your subscription is active in your device's subscription settings. If you just subscribed, try closing and reopening the app.

I can't find my saved documents.

All documents are stored in the History tab. Make sure you completed and saved the document, haven't accidentally deleted it, and check the filter dropdown to make sure you're viewing "All" documents.

Quick Fixes
