The Story Behind SafetyBriefer

Six years managing crews. Over a decade in construction. Forty million dollars in work. Dozens of people on site every single day. And in all that time under my watch—not one fatality.

I thank God for that. Genuinely. Because I know how easily it could have gone the other way. One wrong decision, one skipped conversation, one morning where someone's head wasn't in the game—and everything changes. A family gets a phone call. A crew is never the same.

I managed construction crews for over six years—paving, excavation, signage—and I ran hundreds of safety meetings in that time. I saw crews tune out when the content felt generic, and I saw them lean in when you talked about something real. Something that mattered to the work they were about to do.
